The question isn’t who is going to let me; It’s who is going to stop me -Ipsy

Ipsy’s glam bag for the month of September has arrived and just by seeing the sneak peek glam bag. I’m so excited to get into the products I received and test them out. This month’s glam bag comes to us in a beautiful black bag with a detail of lashes on the front and a gold faux leather bottom. I love anything that has that winky eye detail on it or lashes. I think it gives products that extra touch and it makes it look adorable. The bag in the inside has another cute detail in it. When you open it, you will see a little message that says “Rules were made to be broken” I love that little touch. This month’s super cute and adorable that it has me thinking we are about to have some amazing products inside. Let’s check it out.

Hempz Triple Moisture Herbal Whipped Body Creme:

I have heard of this brand before but have never tried any of their products, so I was excited to get something from them to be able to try. I received this whipped body creme and I must say it smells soooooo good. The scent reminds me of love spell by Victoria Secret. It moisturized my skin instantly. I love the whipped formula from it. It just went on smooth and creamy. It’s the perfect travel size creme. You can keep it in your purse or do like I do and have a stash at work to put on whenever. This body creme is enriched with 100% pure natural hemp seed oil. I loved it! and I’m not usually crazy for lotions or body cremes in my bags but this one was really good.

Nomad Cosmetics Around The World Light Infusion Highlighting Blush in Positano Sunrise:

This highlighting blush is so buttery! It was the first thing I noticed about it and I love it. The shade is pretty with its peachy/coral vibes. It’s the perfect blush/highlighting duo. It’s blend-able and I feel it’s like a multi-use product. Not only can you use it for highlighting and blush but you can also use it as an eye shadow. I think it’s cool how you can get both your highlight and blush done with just this one product. Excited to try this one out.

Trestique Mini Lip Glaze In Mumbai Magenta:

Now, I’ve never been a big fan of lip glazes. I like lip color that will fully cover my lips unless it’s a nude lipstick but when I saw this lip glaze in my bag I couldn’t help but fall for the shade. Mumbai Magenta is this beautiful berry shade that I know will go on so well with my skin tone. The only problem is how is it going to look because it is a lip glaze? I decided to try it out just to see if maybe my mind could be swayed and the final verdict was although the shade is beautiful I’m still not a fan of lip glazes. They remind me of lip balms which I love but I don’t use them as much. I love full bold lip colors and I’m not crazy on sheer. My personal preference but if you love lip glazes then by all means check this one out. It went on smooth and the shade is beautiful. I have tried other Trestique products in the past and I loved them but this one is not my favorite.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primerizer:

This primerizer is a 2 in 1. It’s both a primer and a moisturizer. I’ve received this primer multiple times in the past. It’s a really great primer. It’s lightweight and gives life to your skin. It makes your skin feel so smooth, soft, and ready for makeup. I love how it helps keep makeup on all day and looking fresh. The only downfall which is really nothing with the product is, I keep getting it in so many boxes that I just wish I could try another primer that I haven’t heard of or have wanted to try. That doesn’t take away from this product though and I highly recommend if you’re out looking for a good primer than definately take a look at this one.

Meech And Mia Pressed Eye Shadow In Gunmetal:

I’ve received lots of shadows from this brand in the past and I actually like them. They are pigmented, buttery, and no fallout. The shade I received this time is gunmetal. It’s this shimmery smokey grey that’s perfect for creating a smokey eye look. The little compact it came in is so adorable. You can even use this shade as an eyeliner if you’re feeling up to it. If you haven’t tried Meech and Mia, definitely do. You will love their shadows.

That is it for the September Ipsy glam bag. I feel this month was an OK month. Compared to the last couple month’s, this bag wasn’t as great as those. I really loved the Hempz body creme. The Meech and Mia eye shadow is really nice but I have so many shadows like that one. That’s not to say Meech and Mia shouldn’t be given a try. I think they have amazing quality eye shadows. The lip glaze was a no for me. I just don’t like how it looks on me personally. The primer is a really good primer but I have so many of the same one that I just wish I could have had a different one sent and the Nomad Highlighter/Blush I think is super cool because of it’s multi-use. Definitely something handy to have in your makeup bag. I have signed up for Ipsy Glambag Plus and it looks like I will be recieving the first glambag plus which I’m really excited. If you haven’t heard, Ipsy Glam Bag Plus is the new subscription from Ipsy where you have to be a member to upgrade and you pay $25 a month for 5 full size makeup products.
