Facetory 7 Lux August Unboxing

“That’s all they really want

Some fun

When the working day is done

Oh, girls they wanna have fun

Oh, girls just wanna have fun…”

I just had to go there as the theme for Facetory’s August box is “Girls just wanna have sun.” We have all the masks we need to protect our skin from the summer sun. Most of us will be at the beach, maybe at the pool, or just out doing regular activities. This box was curated specifically for that. Let’s get into Facetory’s August box to which we have a huge surprise awaiting.

Surprise!! Facetory released their very first face mask and I’m excited!! This mask is called sun bae and is the perfect mask to soothe your skin after a day at the beach. I’m really excited that Facetory made their own mask as I felt it was about time we saw something coming from them themselves. I look forward to seeing more mask from their brand in future boxes. Let’s take a look at the ingredients.

Key Ingredients:

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract: Has anti inflammatory properties to help soothe and hydrate the skin.

Jojoba Seed Oil: Helps with acne, dry skin, and of course we can’t forget that not so fun sunburn you get at the beach. Also helps soothe and unclog hair follicles.

Betaine: Gives the skin a smooth appearance by reducing wrinkles and retaining moisture.

Ultru I’m Sorry For My Skin S.O.S Jelly Mask: Retail Price $4.00

Loveeeeeeeeeee Jelly masks!!! Jelly masks have been my savior when I’ve used certain bubble masks that have irritated my skin. I tried last month’s bubble mask and I couldn’t even last 5 minutes without my skin screaming an S.O.S. I remembered I had a jelly mask and put that one on and it immediately started soothing my skin especially where my skin became irritated. I honestly can’t have enough jelly masks. So I love that I got one in this box.

Key Ingredients:

Centella Asiatica: Fights inflammation and provides anti-aging properties. It’s also high in antioxidants.

Broccoli Sprout Extract: Helps with inflammation and skin irritation (good to know in case I don’t have a jelly mask and another bubble mask fails on me).

Ariul Juice Cleanse Mask Wheat & Celery: Retail Price $5.00

Don’t like wheat or celery? Well here’s a fun way to get all the nutrients and healthy ingredients for your skin. This mask helps give some life to your skin and moisturizes it. I hate celery so I’m glad that I can at least use a celery mask to replace the real thing. The way this mask works is by taking out the dry mask to your left and submerging it in the juice cleanse on the right. Then place on your face and leave on for 10-20 minutes.

Key Ingredients:

Wheat Extract: Will keep your skin moisturized

Celery Extract: Has vital nutrients that helps reduce acne, scars, and removes impurities from the skin.

Shionle Pore & Spot Care Mask: Retail Price $3.50

Yayyy!! aside from loving jelly masks, I also love pore masks. I’ve mentioned how I hate the pores on my nose so seeing this makes me really happy. This mask helps with unwanted pores and blemishes.

Key Ingredients:

Pinus Palustris Leaf Extract: Fights free radicals and helps prevent wrinkles as well as aging skin.

Tea Tree Extract: Has soothing properties and helps with acne

Jeu’Demeure Aqua Mask: Retail Price $4.00

The most expensive mask in this box. This mask helps lift and firm the skin. There are two parts to this mask. The first part is the boosting essence pad. You will use this to help exfoliate and soften your skin. The second part is the high fitting mask which will help with the lifting process.

Key Ingredients:

Overall, the August box dominated with hydrating and soothing masks. I think it’s perfect being that we are still in summer mode and where I live it’s scorching hot every day. I love how Facetory came out with their own mask and as I was typing this I decided to put it on and I’m impressed! definately felt my skin soothed. Congratulations FaceTory on your new mask! I loved the pore care mask, the jelly one, and the fact that I have backups in case other masks irritate my skin. Facetory also included a sticker sheet in this month’s box which I thought was super cute and can be used for scrapbooking. The girls just wanna have sun theme was perfect for this time of year. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for September. Remember you can get this box for $19.90 a month and it comes with 7 sheet masks. If you’re looking to try it out, you can also try the four-ever fresh that comes with 4 masks and it retails for $8.90. I’m a face mask junkie so 7 lux it is for me.
